I can't believe rest week is over

I believe one of the most important things the majority of people neglect in there fitness programming is weeks of rest and recovery. The human mind has such a addictive personality, once we are determined to start something and commit to reaching our goals it is like a light switch has been flipped. Then we start planning out our goals and outcomes, but once everything is planned out in a organized realistic manner all of a sudden a little voice in our head tells us that we can reach our goals faster if we work harder and take less rest. Sometimes though, there just aren't any shortcuts and when it comes to our health its totally true. You need time to health and recover so y0u can come back and work that much harder. So, tmrw 2-15-10 I will be starting week 5, one month down and 2 to go. Recovery week sure was nice though ;-)
